This video has been sitting around on a VHS tape forever, so it doesn’t look too good. I did clean up the audio as best I could, but not much I can do about the weird color shift. I tried to fix it, but it just looked even worse!
That’s me on bass, Christopher Pomerenke on drums and James Karnes on vocals and guitar.

I took all the stuff down about my failed experiment to write and record an album. Going back to school full time really jacked that idea all up!
More stuff will be posted here, I’ll dig out more of my greatest hits and just possibly….maybe…some new stuff….

Also be sure to keep an eye on the Sound Chances website as all my video work and probably some more music will be posted. There is now an RSS stream coming from there, so you can see what’s happening over there. I’ll make a post on cool stuff.

Anyway, stuff changes and life moves on….

I have finally got the Sound Chances website going.
Ziggadigga shall be about my music and my ramblings, Sound Chances will be about my work…make sense?

DownloadEven Satan Recycles

Another old track from Resinhead, notice the date on the picture of the flyer, this song was written for that show…

Resinhead flyer

This was recorded at the same time as the previous track I posted and if I remember right, Bob from Sunnyvale actually wrote the lyrics when he was a member of the band.

Anyway, another blast from the past as I sort through transcripts getting ready to register for school….

Yes, Genesis…

I got the Genesis 1976-1982 Box Set for my birthday and have been listening to it constantly since then. I do prefer the Peter Gabriel era more but the first few albums with Phil Collins on vocals are just as good as the earlier work.

The remixes of these albums are great, true to the to original for the most part with everything just being a little more clear in the mix. The mastering suffers from the modern day loudness wars, but it could have been worse. The surround mixes are not over the top and really just add more space to the music and avoids typical surround mix tricks. This is a great package if you are into the symphonic prog-rock of Genesis’s early days…I can’t wait for the Gabriel era box set to be released…
